Footballers have been raising funds to support good causes.
An annual match was held in memory of Chris Milner, of Oakham, who died from pulmonary embolism, aged 24, nine years ago.
Chris’s friends took part in the match, which was held at Greetham Community Centre, with the score finishing 7-7. The event raised more than £330 which will be split between Rainbows Hospice, Emics, and the county’s air ambulance.
Rutland Veterans’ match against a Peterborough Legends team, which was due to be held on Sunday in Cottesmore, has been postoned. The game will now be played in January.
