Author returns to his old school in Bourne to give lesson

A well-known children’s author dropped into his old school to hold a question and answer session.

Edward Trayer, who writes as Billy Bob Buttons visited Bourne Academy last month.

Mr Trayer is the author of Rubery Book Awards finalist, Felicity Brady and the Wizard’s Bookshop, Gullfoss Legends, and UK People’s Book Prize runner-up, TOR Assassin Hunter.

Mr Trayer, who attended Bourne Academy when it was Robert Manning from 1984 to 1986, held a workshop developing characters with the pupils.
