A grand autumn fair has raised almost £500 to help volunteers at a Bourne church to pay for a new heating system.
The money raised at the fair on Saturday at the Bourne United Reformed Church hall will help meet the costs of new radiators that have been installed.
The Rev Reg Rooke said: “We are investing in the future with this work.
“We thought it was a fantastic day. The room was full most of the time and there were quite a range for people to choose from.
“A special feature of the day is that everyone talks to each other.
“It is not just one of these Saturday markets where everyone’s heads are down looking at the items. It is a real social occasion.”
