Claude N Smith, based in Collyweston, is one of four finalists in the heritage category of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors’ 2014 awards.
The firm specialises in Collyweston slate, both reused and from its own quarry. It was nominated for its work on The Laurels, a Grade II listed home in Stilton, near Peterborough. The home was build in the early 1700s.
The awards final will be held at the Hilton Metrople in London on May 16. Last year Claude N Smith was a runner-up in the heritage category.
