A FUN run and 10k race will take place in Thurlby on Sunday.
Food company Bakkavor has sponsored the annual event.
The 3k fun run will benefit Thurlby Tigers and For Lucie, a charity set up by Trish and John Page of Witham-on-the-Hill in memory of their daughter. Lucie died aged 16 days from meningitis.
The 10k run will raise money for village youth groups including the scouts.
Bakkavor, based in Spalding Road, Bourne, has given organisers £200 to go towards running costs.
A spokesman from said: “We like to support local events, doing good things for the community, and Thurlby is fairly close.”
Profits from the race will go towards a range of local causes including the Thurlby Scouts and primary school.
Organisers are expecting several hundred entrants of varying standard for the undulating race.
The fun run starts at Lawrance Park at 10.15am and the 10k at 11am.
Runners can register in advance online at www.thurlbyrun.btck.co.uk. Runners will also be able to register on the day.
