SPIRITS were high despite the weather at a jubilee street party in Queen’s Walk, Stamford, today (Sunday).

Residents young and old were out to join in the celebrations, which featured a barbecue and a collection of cakes.

Resident Jan Rigby said: “It was too wet for the games that we had planned but we had a jolly good time all the same.”

Organiser Cassie Petrie said: “It’s been really good and everyone’s had a great time despite the weather.”
