YOUNGSTERS have been getting bright and colourful to be safe and seen on their walk to school.

Pupils at Barnack Primary School were given high visibility bags and wrist bands from housebuilder David Wilson Homes, as part of Walk to School Week.

Staff at the school hope the donation will encourage the children to stay safe on their walk to school.

Headteacher Stuart Wainwright said: “The children are already making good use of the kit bags and slap it wrist bands, and they will no doubt make the children visible on their walk to school.”
