A YOGA class for babies in Bourne has won the top prize in a national award.
Beanies Yoga Babies, which runs during term time at Bambino’s Baby Centre in Burghley Street and in the school holidays at Wake House in North Street, scooped the top prize at the awards held by UK’s biggest parenting site, Netmums.com.
The sessions for preschool children, run by Kelly Bromley, 29, was voted the best in south Lincolnshire.
The group beat stiff competition from dozens of other classes in the area and will now be listed as the area’s best on the Netmums website and Kelly will receive a certificate from local Netmums editor Jane Massey.
Kelly said: “I’m absolutely delighted my class has been crowned the best in south Lincolnshire.
“The Netmums award means so much as it’s voted for by the parents.
“I love teaching Baby Yoga, I am passionate about it and it’s fantastic to know the parents and babies enjoy it as much as I do.”
Netmums founder Siobhan Freegard said: “Pre-school classes are one of the very best ways to bond with your child and provide hours of fun for all the family.
“We were very impressed by the high standard of classes in South Lincolnshire but Kelly and her Beanies Yoga Babies class was a worthy winner.”
Each course of Baby Yoga consists of five one-hour weekly sessions and costs £30. E-mail email@example.com or visit www.beaniesyogababies.co.uk for more information.
