The Nene and Welland district branch of Oddfellows has handed over a cheque for £1,000 to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Chairman of the branch for 2013/14 Chris Briance presented the cheque to Barry Daff from the charity during a meeting, which was held at the Oddfellows Hall in Church Street, Market Deeping .
The amount was raised over the course of the last year at various functions.
During the presentation Mr Daff gave a short talk on the air ambulance and a few games of bingo were also held.
The Oddfellows is one of the largest and oldest friendly societies in the UK, with 280,000 members across 146 Branches nationwide.
The local branch organises an active social programme and provides help and support to members, who have access to a range of financial and care benefits for £30 a year.
