A FISH and chip shop served up a treat for a medical practice.
The Boundary restaurant and takeaway in Market Deeping held a charity day for the Deepings Medical Practice.
Cod and chips were sold at a special price of £2.50 all day, with all the proceeds donated to the practice.
The restaurant also gave an extra £1 for every table seated on the day.
Jean Shaw, head of marketing for the Boundary, said: “It was a great day and we raised £1,000, which has already gone towards a brand new electrocardiograph machine.
“We have been raising money for the practice for a few years now, and I think we have raised over £9,000 so far which is a great total.
“We like to donate to local charities, especially the practice because at some point we all have to use it.
“We would like to thank our customers for turning out and donating to a very good cause.”
