A COFFEE morning raised £275 for a breast cancer charity.

Avon representative Kerry Storey organised the event, which took place at Wake House, in North Street, Bourne, on Saturday last week.

There were refreshments and cakes for people to enjoy, as well as a raffle, tombola, cake and jewellery stalls and more.

Kerry, of Essex Way, Bourne, said not many people turned up but that she was pleased to raise so much money for The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade which aims to increase awareness of breast cancer.

She said: “Thank you to all those who supported the event, including the shops which donated prizes for the raffle.”
