PEOPLE and pets flocked to a garden centre for a fundraising dog show.
Three Counties Dog Rescue, based in Spalding Road, Bourne, held a fun dog show to celebrate its 40th year at Waterside Garden Centre in Baston on Saturday.
About 80 canines took part in a range of competitions, including best behaved and most like their owner.
Gyll Mauchline, who runs Three Counties Dog Rescue with her husband Max and a team of volunteers, said: “The show went very well. We raised about £500 to go towards vets’ fees and the running of the charity.”
The show was judged by Rutland dog warden Barry Briggs.
As well as the show there were stalls, a raffle, a tombola and an animal behaviourist giving advice.
Gyll added: “I would like to thank all who participated.”
