The building fund for Bourne Methodist Church was £675 better off thanks to generous donors and customers attending it’s Autumn Fair.
Clothes, books and puzzles were snapped up from stalls on Saturday morning.
Funds raised will go towards the £350,000 needed for improvements including linking the Church in Abbey Road with its nearby hall.
Fair organiser Dave Windsor said: “We had quite a busy morning. Trading was quite brisk and people were very generous.”
Mr Windsor attributed the success to a “good band of helpers and generous buyers”.
