A PRIMARY school pupil in Bourne has had her sporting design reproduced on water bottles after winning a competition.

Bourne based housing company, Larkfleet Homes, has donated 700 sports water bottles to pupils at Bourne Abbey Primary Academy as part of a creative design competition.

Larkfleet gave pupils in years one to six the task of designing a sport themed logo that could be printed onto the water bottles.

Year 4 pupil Evie Price was picked as the overall winner with runners up selected in each year group.

Certificates were handed out to the finalists in a special assembly where Evie was also presented with a £25 book token for her winning design.

Evie’s sporty logo has now been printed on the water bottles for each pupil to take home.

Larkfleet managing director Karl Hick said: “We were overwhelmed with the number and standard of entries in the sports logo design competition.

“Larkfleet is delighted to donate the water bottles to the school pupils to use in both indoor and outdoor lessons.

“I hope the water bottles also encourage pupils to get involved in sporting activities and enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle.”
