A coffee morning held by the Bourne Trefoil Guild, in memory of Ann Walters has raised more than £1,000 for two charities.

The successful event held on Saturday at Bourne Abbey Church Hall, attracted many visitors who donated their money in memory of Ann.

There were many stalls at the coffee morning, including second hand craft equipment, tombola, cakes, bric-a-brac, cards and a raffle which included a prize of a bistro table and chairs.

Refreshments were also served throughout the morning.

Raffle prizes were won by Jean Fownes, Sue Parrot, J Gentry and many others.

All of the money raised at the coffee morning will be split between two charities, Mesothelioma UK and Cancer Research UK.

Thanks were expressed to everyone who supported and gave generously for these causes.
