THE line-up for the acoustic stage at this year’s Riverside Festival has been announced.
The festival takes place on The Meadows in Stamford on July 7 and the acoustic stage, which will now be known as the Boomerang Stage, will feature a range of genres.
Bluegrass group The Toy Hearts and African Kora musician Sura Susso will be joined by Clutching at Straws, who came second in the Mercury’s Road to Riverside competition, singer Akua Tu, Pogues tribute act Dead Rabbits, Strangeworld, Sir Scallywag, Hannah Scott and The Seas of Mirth.
Two Market Deeping singers, Jules Morgan and Harry Ridgeway, round off the line-up.
The festival planning meeting that was scheduled to go ahead on Sunday at Mama Liz’s in North Street has been moved to Sunday, May 20.
