A village shop is celebrating expanding the services it can offer with the installation of National Lottery at the store.

The Baston Post Office and stores is delighted to be able to announce that the is now available within the village.

Owner of the store Jonathan Walker, above, said: “This can only be a positive addition for the village and will hopefully encourage additional customers into our store.

“The advantage my shop has over many other retailers perhaps, is ample on street parking immediately outside so it is ideal for those in a hurry, or indeed the elderly.”

Mr Walker has been trying to get lottery services in the village and hopes this will keep locals shopping in the village rather than visiting big larger shops in the neighbouring towns.

The shop also provides a full range of Post Office services, and is a member of the Premier group.
