Four flats built under a town centre refurbishment scheme have been snapped up within weeks of going on the market.

The period-style properties in the revamped Wherry’s Mill in Bourne have all been sold to new owners.

South Kesteven District Council has spent £2.14m redeveloping the area, and is now showing prospective tenants around the neighbouring retail units and apartments. There has also been interest in the serviced land next door.

Property development manager Neil Cucksey said: “This just shows that our investment in Bourne has been worth while and there is a genuine demand and need for good quality town centre apartments and retail units.”
