A production company has made a top-level senior appointment.

LUX Technical, which was set up by former Stamford School pupil Peter Gibbons, has hired Jamie Mangan as live production director.

Jamie, a former Casterton College pupil, previously worked for Cameron Mackintosh Ltd and brings a wealth of West End experience to his new role.

Peter said: “I have known Jamie for many years and have seen his fabulous work at Cameron Mackintosh. Jamie brings boundless energy and West End experience to a new role that we’ve created especially for him – live production director.

“Jamie’s new hire and our expansion into London are both important investments in the business at a very exciting time for LUX Technical.”

Jamie has eight years’ experience in the production and project management of live shows, most recently for Cameron Mackintosh, who is most famous for producing West Ends musical shows such as Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera.

Prior to working for Cameron Mackintosh, Jamie was in involved with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

LUX Technical launched in Stamford before moving to Hinckley, and also has a London office.
