Two friends have followed their dream and opened a womens fashion shop in Bourne.
Blue-eyed Dolls at 15a North Street, Bourne, will stock dresses, T-shirts, handbags and accessories at “affordable prices.”
It will open for business on Saturday, July 5.
Owners, Deeping women Rachel Wormall, 31, and Sandy Smith, 34, said it has been their “lifelong dream” to set up their own boutique.
The pair said it is a first for Bourne with contemporary ladies fashion now available without having to travel or waiting for your online order to arrive.
Prices for fashion items range from £15 to £50 with brands to include AX Paris, Missi and Babez London.
Rachel, who has worked in marketing, said: “This has been something we’ve both wanted to do for a long time and when I started working in Bourne I noticed there was a real need for a ladies fashion shop in Bourne.
“This was the perfect time for both of us to take the plunge and make our dreams come true.”
Sandy, who also has retail experience, said: “We really wanted to focus on quality yet affordable fashion and we’re really proud to have secured AX Paris as a supplier as they have some great pieces that will be popular with ladies from 16 to 60.”
Blue-eyed Dolls has also committed to donating £1 for every item sold during their first month to Sue Ryder’s Thorpe Hall Hospice appeal to raise £6m for a new hospice in Longthorpe, Peterborough.
The shop’s normal opening hours are from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
