A singer-songwriter is preparing for a busy summer with the worldwide release of his album and a UK and US tour.
Rob Lynch, who grew up in Stamford, has spent the last few years building a reputation for honest and intimate songs and shows.
His debut EP was released in 2011 and last year he recorded his first full-length album, All These Nights In Bars Will Somehow Save My Soul.
The album was recorded partly in Philadelphia with Shane Henderson of Valencia, and partly in Rob’s current hometown of London with Sam Duckworth of Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly. The record covers topics such as the death of Rob’s father, life on the road and finding light in times of darkness.
The album is now ready for a global release and Rob is supporting it with a tour of the UK this month and a trip to the US as part of the Warped Tour in July and August.
But he still has strong connections with Stamford and although his hometown is not part of the current UK tour, Rob can often be found on stage in the Voodoo Lounge at Mama Liz’s.
