A SHOE shop has reopened after a refit.

Clarks in Red Lion Square, Stamford, opened its doors to the public again yesterday after being closed for a month.

The shop has been given a brand new look inside and boasts a new-look children’s department.

Mayor of Stamford, Coun Bob Sandall (Ind) officially opened the revamped shop at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Store manager Gaby Parsons said: “We love the new look, it’s just fantastic.

“The front has been painted and it looks excellent.”

The store is holding a clearance sale for the next two weeks and is also stocking autumn and winter lines.
