CLINTON Cards in Stamford is to close.
Signs for a clearance sale have been put up at the store in High Street and staff confirmed today (Wednesday) the shop will shut.
The firm, which has more than 750 stores nationwide, went into administration earlier this month after accumulating losses of more than £130m since 2004.
It is thought that the Clinton Cards shop in the Burghley Centre, Bourne, is to stay open.
Administrator Zolfo Cooper was unable to say what would happen to the six staff employed at the Stamford store.
