THE CLOSING date for the Clinton Cards shop in High Street, Stamford, has been announced.
The store will shut its doors on Thursday along with 121 others across the UK.
Clinton Cards Plc went into administration in May with after reporting losses of £3.7m for the six months to the end of January.
Zolpho Cooper was appointed administrator and on June 7 sold 397 stores to Lakeshore Lending Limited, a subsidiary of American Greetings Corporation.
But the Stamford store was not one of those sold and will now close on Thursday.
The Clinton Cards shop in the Burghley Centre, Bourne, was one of the 397 sold to Lakeshore and will stay open.
