A luxury gift hamper specialist has seen business take off since the company moved to new premises in Bourne nearly a year ago.
Hay Hampers relocated to a 6,300 sq ft warehouse at The Taste House, Roman Bank, from its previous smaller premises in Corby Glen near Grantham.
During the last 11 months the company, which provides hampers of gourmet foods, champagnes, wines and indulgences, has taken on extra staff, rebranded and opened up new markets overseas.
Director Elisabeth Och said: “Business has been going very well since the move.
“We are incredibly busy much of the time but especially at Christmas, which is the peak time of year for us.
“We have opened our business to international markets and we send our hampers all over the world, from Singapore to Australia.”
The company, which usually employs about 10 people although that number soars at peak trading times, has also restarted selling wines to restaurants.
Mrs Och said: “We are steadily building up our customers and we now supply wines from all over the world to about 40 restaurants.
“Some of the Italian, French and Spanish wines that we supply are exclusive to us.
“Our new premises give us a lot more storage space so we can hold a lot more wine.”
Hay Hampers rebranded with a new logo and corporate image. It has launched a new and fully responsive website for the e-commerce side of the business.
