TEENAGERS have been taking advantage of placements to learn about the world of work.

Pupils at the Deepings School in Deeping St James have been working for a variety of businesses in recent weeks as they try and decide what to do for a career.

Headteacher Chris Beckett said: “Work experience for this school is, and always will be, incredibly valued and important in the development of a well-rounded student.

“In a world of continual change, the concept of removing work experience is one which we considered, but we made a quick decision to carry on with it.”
