AN award-winning chef is welcoming pastry-lovers to his new cafe.

Thierry Daugeron has opened the Riverside Cafe in Wharf Road, Stamford.

Thierry, who runs a catering business, the Stamford Cookery School and the Theatre Lounge at Stamford Corn Exchange, has won multiple awards for his culinary skills and has been based in Stamford for a number of years.

His new cafe serves tea and coffee alongside Thierry’s signature pastries, desserts and cakes.

It is now open from 10am to 5pm Wednesdays to Sundays. From October 1 it will be open seven days a week, and from 11.30am to 2.30pm will be serving light lunch dishes.
