Two new companies are preparing to open offices in Rutland.
A law firm will move into Oakham next month and a debt collection company is opening its head office in Uppingham in January.
Setfords Solicitors will open for business from the office space above Beans Coffee Shop and L’Oliveto in Church Street, Oakham, on December 2.
Consultant solicitor Carol Lee will run the branch, which hopes to expand its business and take on new staff.
Mrs Lee said: “We specialise in residential and commercial property conveyancing, wills and probate but the Setfords’ model enables us to draw on a wide range of expertise in just about every legal field.
“Our aim is to provide a high quality accessible local service backed up with additional nationwide legal specialists.”
Debt collection firm Empingham Limited will open at the Uppingham Gate development in January.
Forty staff will initially work at the site but the company hopes to employ a further 60 people.
A spokesman for the Corby-based company said: “The offices will provide us with the prestigious headquarters building that we were seeking.
“We are looking forward to the future in Uppingham and helping the local employment market.”
