Residents showed their support for a village church at a summer fete.
Carlby Village Hall hosted the event on Saturday.
Stalls were put up selling a good selection of items, including bric-a-brac, books, teas and coffees and homemade cakes.
Villagers and businesses donated a range of prizes for the raffle, which proved popular with visitors.
And there were games and activities to keep the youngsters busy.
The fete was held in support of St Stephen’s Church in the village.
And a grand total of £1,000 was raised on the day.
Parochial church council member Judie Pope thanked all who came, adding: “A really good time was had by all. The church is very grateful.”
