A road has reopened following a crash in Stamford this morning (Thursday).
A Ford Mondeo crashed into a set of traffic lights and hit a gas bollard in Casterton Road, Stamford, at about 10.30am.
Casterton Road was closed between its junctions with Empingham Road and Little Casterton Road but reopened at about 1.30pm after the vehicle was moved from the road.
There were fears that there could be a gas leak but engineers from Transo said there was not. Fire and rescue were also called as a precaution.
The woman driver of the Mondeo was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with minor injuries after the accident. No other cars were involved.
