Charity walker drops in to Salvation Army office in Bourne

A fundraiser who is walking 7,900 miles for the Salvation Army paid a visit to the branch in Manning Road, Bourne.

Andy Peddle, 71, dropped in to say hello on his trip around all Salvation Army corps and centres in the UK.

He has been walking since May last year and hopes to finish at the Salvation Army headquarters in Elephant and Castle, London, this month.

Bourne corps officer Major Richard Durrant has helped Andy and his driver find overnight accommodation in different places for them both.

Andy aims to raise £100,000 to help the homeless.
