Youngsters showed their love for their home village by entering a school poster competition.

Primary pupils in Deeping St James designed the posters as part of the community’s Love Where You Live campaign.

The posters encourage people to pick up their litter, look after the street where they live and pull weeds out of walls and pavements in front of their own houses.

Competition winner was Zoe Hatton, 10, and runner up Ruby Bewes, nine, both of Deeping St James Primary School.

And third prize went to Leah Nathan of Linchfield Primary School.
