A salon in Oakham hosted a special event to celebrate its fourth anniversary and raise funds for a good cause.
Staff at Creme Hair and Beauty in Mill Street, pictured above, invited customers to join them at the Christmas event which raised more than £250 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
People were treated to an evening of shopping, and were given tips on hair and beauty styling to get them ready for the season, as well as enjoying a relaxing salt and oil scrub.
Local business Savvi Travel also attended so people could make inquiries about booking holidays and live music was provided by jazz singer Olivia Parker.
Elizabeth Mills, chairman of the Macmillan Cancer Support committee in Rutland, said: “What a fab evening. It is super that Creme has chosen to support Macmillan because it is only through events like these that we can continue to do such fantastic work in the area.”
Chris Gunby of Creme Hair and Beauty, who helped organise the event, said: “The Christmas shopping event was such a great evening. We really enjoyed welcoming so many faces, old and new, into the salon and would like to thank everyone for their support.”
