shoppers turned out in force to support a village tradition.
Members of Colly-weston village hall committee hosted their annual Christmas fair on Saturday which once again attracted a lot of support from the village.
Stalls included a tombola, bric a brac, food from Collyweston Community Shop, cards, jewellery and gifts. A team from the Hearing Dogs for Deaf People also hosted a charity stall selling cards and gifts.
Committee secretary Shelagh Busby said: “I was rushed off my feet serving teas and coffees all day so it must have been busy. The Christmas fair is a village tradition now and everyone seemed happy.”
Proceeds are still being counted but all money raised will go to the village hall funds.
