FRUITS, vegetables, arts and crafts were on display at a village produce show at the weekend.
The annual North Luffenham Garden Club Autumn Show was held at the village community centre on Sunday.
More than 40 people entered into about 270 categories at the event.
Numbers were slightly down on previous years but organisers were still delighted to see some colourful and creative displays.
Secretary of the club and event organiser Katy Ellis said: “Entry numbers were lower than last year, as we expected, but we still had a colourful array of entries that filled the hall.
“We had more than 270 entries which is still quite a number.
“We also had quite a few visitors who enjoyed seeing the displays and tea and coffee.
“I’d like to thank everyone who entered to produce a great display.
“Looking forward to next year, we would like to see more youngsters entering the children’s categories.”
The show’s winners included Alan Lambert, who won the President’s Cup as overall winner, Jeanette Holdstock, who was awarded with the Freddie Clyant Trophy for best in show, and the Bolton Trophy went to Jessica Ellis, who won children’s best in show.
