Visitors turned out in numbers to learn about the history of a church and village while raising funds and helping good causes.
A harvest and heritage exhibition was held in the village of Teigh over the weekend.
People were able to find out about the history of the village, from doomsday to the present day, with displays at the old village hall, while a harvest was held in Holy Trinity Church before an evensong on Sunday evening.
Fruit and vegetable donations at the harvest are set to given to the Lodge Trust in Market Overton, while non-perishable food will be given to Rutland’s new foodbank, which launches on Monday.
Organiser Audrey Morley said: “It went well considering there was lots going on in Rutland at the same time.”
