TWO teachers will be raising money for two charities next week.
Oakham School teachers Martin Cropper and Anne Bolt are putting on a concert at All Saints’ Church, Oakham, on Wednesday from 8pm for Make-A-Wish and the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus.
Anne wanted to give something back to the charities which helped her nine-year-old daughter Ella.
Ella was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumour and hydrocephalus when she was two and has had numerous operations. The tumour just appears to be remaining as it was first found.
Anne said: “I am lucky to be in a position to be able to give something back to these charities by fundraising and I am very grateful to my friend and colleague, Martin, for agreeing to help. The more people we can get in the audience, the more money we can raise.”
