A swimming pool is likely to remain closed until January at the earliest.

Rutland County Council is considering its options following the closure of the Catmose Sports Centre pool last month. It was closed because of a leaky roof but investigations found more structural problems which need to be addressed.

The options are to close the pool permanently, repair its structure, renew the building or build a brand new pool. Repairing the structure would take up to three months to complete.

The council will discuss the options on Tuesday.
