Despite a wet weekend a green finger couple opened up their garden last weekend for the 21st year running.
Cliff and Joan Curtis of Chapel Street, Haconby opened their garden to visitors in aid of the National Gardens Scheme. Visitors were able to view the wonderful displays of snowdrops and Schizostylis.
The couple transformed an old farm yard plot covered in rubbish behind their 18th century cottage into an outside space that includes a small walled garden with a paved area, a pool, large alpine planted area and intensively planted beds and borders.
Home-made teas and plants were on sale on both Saturday and Sunday.
The garden will next be open in September.
