A couple who have raised thousands of pounds for charity are taking their fundraising efforts abroad.
Pete and Diane Wheatley, of Bramley Road, Market Deeping, will fly out to Iceland to take part in the 26.2-mile MoonWalk in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday next week.
The couple have been raising money for the charity for years after losing loved ones to cancer.
Diane, 57, has taken part in three MoonWalks before and this time will be her last.
But this time she will take on the route with husband Pete joining her.
For Pete, 58, pictured in the decorated bra he will wear for the walk, this is the first time.
He said the couple were looking forward to the challenge and hoped to complete it in six-and-a-half hours.
The walk begins at midnight, although the Wheatleys will have no trouble finding their way as the Icelandic summer brings 24-hour daylight.
