Village residents have been urged to give their time to help with speed watch checks.
Police in the Northborough area want people to commit to an hour or two a month to help out.
Police community support officer Charlotte Harvey said: “So far I have had one volunteer which is great, but we do need more to be able to conduct training and for speedwatch to be completed.
“If you think motorists often speed through the village you live then you can now do something about it.”
Volunteers receive training with a speed recording device, which they then take out into their community to monitor vehicle speeds.
Any speeding motorists have their registration numbers logged. To sign up call 101.
