Grantham Magistrates’ Court, September 23

Timothy Crook, 44, of Austhorpe Grove, Cottesmore, admitted growing five cannabis plants at his home on September 20. He was fined £350, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £35.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, September 24

Christian Sharpe, 19, of High Street St Martin’s, Stamford, admitted driving a Ford Fiesta in High Street St Martin’s on July 8 without the correct licence or insuranc. He had six points put on his licence, was fined £295, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £22.

Paul Storrie, 26, of Coggles Causeway, Bourne, admitted driving a Ford Transit in Main Road, Tallington, on July 3 without the correct licence or insurance. He had six points put on his licence, was fined £147, ordered to pay costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Jack Wakefield, 30, of Station Road, Castle Bytham, admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra in Little Bytham Road, Castle Bytham, on July 12 without the correct licence or insurance. He had six points put on his licence, was fined £135, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, September 30

Dale Withers, 33, of Recreation Ground Road, Stamford, admitted driving away from a petrol station in Great North Road, Great Ponton, without paying for £40 of diesel on September 11.

He was given a community order, ordered to pay costs of £85, a victim surcharge of £60 and compensation of £40.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, September 23

Emma Lane, 36, of Bourne Road, Essendine, was found guilty of driving a vehicle in Rutland Way, Ryhall, without the correct insurance on March 26. She had six points put on her licence, was fined £600, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, September 25

Robert Williams, 48, of Chestnut Road, Oakham, admitted assaulting another man by beating him in Ashwell Road, Oakham, on April 25. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay costs of £35 and a victim surcharge of £15.
