These are the results from recent hearings at magistrates’ courts around the area. We do not carry minor speeding offences.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, July 28

Lewis Austen, 24, of Abel Close, Deeping St James, admitted using threatening words or behaviour towards another person in Market Deeping on June 7.

He was fined £255, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £25.

Sarah Cassely, 51, of Empingham Road, Stamford, admitted drink driving in Red Lion Square, Stamford, on June 17.

She gave a reading of 108 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

She was disqualified from driving for 40 months, ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency, placed under supervision for six months, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, August 4

Jade Barker, 26, of The Brambles, Easton-on-the-Hill, admitted dishonestly claiming benefits to which she was not entitled between November 2011 and February 2013.

She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £100.

Owen Rogers, 22, of Thurlby Youth Hostel, High Street, Thurlby, admitted harassing another man by sending offensive voicemails on May 29.

He was ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid community work, pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, August 5

Debra Kirk, 48, of Towning Close, Deeping St James, was found guilty of driving without insurance or a valid MOT certificate in Blenheim Way, Deeping St James, on December 11, 2013.

She was fined £800, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £43, and had six points put on her licence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, August 6

Barrie Plowman, 72, of Drift Road, Stamford, admitted driving without due care and attention in Stamford on October 29, 2013.

He was fined £338, ordered to pay costs of £400 and a victim surcharge of £34. He also had six points put on his licence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, August 11

Jonathan Eldred, 22, of Masterton Road, Stamford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Stamford, on July 27.

He was fined £200, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Zachary Clayton, 26, of Blackthorn, Stamford, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen and driving without due care and attention in Queens Street and Sheepmarket, Stamford, on July 25.

He was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months, to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60. He was also fined £160 and disqualified from driving for three years.

Simon Jakeman, 24, of Morcott Road, Wing, admitted assaulting a woman in Shackleton Close, Market Deeping, on January 20.

He was placed under supervision for six months, ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, August 11

Duncan Johnson, 52, of Linden Lea, Teigh, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was fined £600, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60. He also had six points put on his licence.

James Marsden, 27, of Burchnall Close, Deeping St James, admitted stealing fuel from Kates Bridge Service Station worth a combined total of £102.01 on three separate occasions.

He was fined £150, ordered to pay compensation of £102.01 and costs of £85.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, August 14

Benjamin Redley, 29, of Waverley Close, Morton, admitted driving with differing tyres on the A15 in Bourne on January 15.

He was fined £150, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20. He also had three points put on his licence.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, August 18

Nicholas Ferris, 38, of Westfield Way, Langtoft, admitted drink driving in King Street, West Deeping, on June 27.

He gave a reading of 132 milligrammes of alcohol in 100ml of urine. The legal limit is 107.

He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £225, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Donald Scales, 52, of All Saints Mews, Stamford, was found guilty of failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence.

He was fined £600, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60. He also had six points put on his licence.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, August 20

Samuel Hanlon, 21, of Glebe Way, Oakham, admitted drink driving in Uppingham Road, Oakham, on July 28.

He gave a reading of 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £85, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Paul Grogan, 55, of Derwent Drive, Oakham, admitted stealing items worth £17.66 from Tesco in Oakham and assaulting a man on July 25.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay compensation of £25, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, August 27

Stone Pepper, 24, of Melton Road, Whissendine, admitted drink driving in Beckmill Lane, Melton Mowbray, on August 1.

He gave a reading of 44 microgrammes in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £230, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £23.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, September 1

Richard Duffield, 35, of Spalding Road, Deeping St James, admitted damaging a cell wall belonging to Lincolnshire Police in Grantham on August 8.

He was given an eight-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Peter Godfrey, 64, of Saxon Way, Bourne, admitted assaulting a woman on July 23.

He was fined £135, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Loughborough Magistrates’ Court, September 3

Stephanie Marles, 23, of Kestrel Road, Oakham, admitted drink driving in Baryleythorpe Road, Oakham, on August 9.

She gave a reading of 59 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

She was disqualified from driving for 15 months, fined £150, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.

Emma Wolfendon, 30, of John Clare Close, Oakham, admitted drink driving in Chestnut Road, Oakham, on August 14.

She gave a reading of 163 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

She was given an 18-month prison sentence, suspended for a year, disqualified from driving for three years, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £50.

Grantham Magistrates’ Court, September 3

Simon Cook, 45, of Doughty Street, Stamford, admitted failing to identify the driver of a vehicle alleged to have been guilty of an offence on January 7 in Nettleham.

He was fined £540, had six points put on his licence, was ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £54.

Andrew Dalby, 33, of Turnpike Road, Ryhall, admitted driving without insurance and while using a mobile phone on the A151 in Edenham on November 7, 2013.

He was fined £450, had six points put on his licence, ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £45.
