Decrease in drink drive arrests over Christmas
The number of people arrested for drink or drug driving during December has dropped compared to 2011.
From December 1 to 31 last year police made 100 arrests for drink or drug driving offences on Lincolnshire roads, compared to 119 for the same period in 2011.
This was an average of 3.2 arrests per day, down from 3.8 per day the previous year.
A Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership spokesman said a full report into the figures would be released later this month.
