Fourth arrest in Alan Wood murder inquiry

POLICE have made a fourth arrest in the Alan Wood murder inquiry.

Lincolnshire police have arrested a 20-year-old man from Hampshire this morning, in connection with the investigation.

He was arrested in the Hampshire area.

Mr Wood, 50, was found dead at his home in Main Road, Lound, in October last year. He was subjected to a sustained and savage knife attack.

Three men, aged 18, 35 and 43, were arrested in connection with the inquiry in September. They reported for bail on Tuesday last week but were released on bail again. They will next report back on Monday, February 7.
