Fuel thieves target vehicles in Cottesmore, Market Overton and Thistleton
Police have warned drivers to put their cars in garages or well lit areas after a spate of fuel thefts.
Thieves drilled into the fuel tanks of vehicles in Cottesmore, Market Overton and Thistleton and stole the contents between 6pm yesterday (Monday) and 7am today (Tuesday).
Officers have asked drivers to prevent further thefts by keeping vehicles in a garage or on in well-lit areas.
Call police on the 101 non-emergency number if you see anyone acting suspiciously around vehicles.
