A man has been arrested after an incident in Hereward Street in Bourne this morning (Friday).
Police were called to the scene after receiving reports two men were threatened by someone with a knife.
Officers cordoned off the street while they negotiated with a man as they were concerned for his safety. The man was later arrested and is now in custody.
The street reopened at midday.
Police have confirmed this incident was not connected to a minor explosion in Manning Road, Bourne, which also happened this morning.
