Mobile phones worth £2,000 stolen from O2 shop in Stamford

NINE mobile phones worth more than £2,000 were stolen from a shop in Stamford yesterday (Thursday).

Four men entered the O2 shop in St Paul’s Street, Stamford, just before 5pm and took the phones, including HTC, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Eriksson handsets.

Police said two of the men were white, in their 30s, of medium build and were wearing dark clothing and baseball caps.

The other two offenders were black, in their 30s, and of medium build. One was wearing a grey beanie hat and a grey jumper and the other was wearing a black beanie hat and a black coat.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
