A BUILDING society has reopened today (Wednesday) after a raid on its cash machine.
Norwich and Peterborough Building Society in Market Place, Market Deeping, was forced to close yesterday after thieves smashed down the front door at about 3am and stole a quantity of money from the back of the cash machine.
Police initially believed the raid was linked to three other thefts across Lincolnshire, but today said they were probably not connected and had been committed by separate criminal gangs.
The door has now been repaired and the branch is open as normal.
Call police on 101 with any information.
