A rural policing team has set its new priorities for the next three months.
Witham-on-the-Hill officers met with the public on Wednesday last week to discuss crime concerns.
Following the meeting policing priorities until October were set.
Over the next three months the team will aim to tackle illegal raves around the area.
PC Debbie Bowen said: “During summer evenings, rural areas can be susceptible to unlicensed music events (illegal raves). The need to pre-empt any possible illegal raves and early intervention can assist in reducing the greater impact they cause.
“An illegal rave can result not only in the quality of life to the local community being affected, but the aftermath of potential damage to the land and cleanup costs being incurred by the landowner.”
